Founder’s Story: Caribbean Hot House

Caribbean Hot House was built on more than recipes, it was built on legacy, love, and decades of Caribbean cooking tradition.

For over 30 years, our mother shared her gift through food. From catering family gatherings and community events to preparing meals that brought people comfort and joy, the kitchen was always at the heart of everything she did. Her cooking wasn’t just about feeding people — it was about bringing people together, creating memories, and making everyone feel at home.

She became known for her authentic Caribbean flavor, warm hospitality, and the care she poured into every dish. Whether she was preparing meals for a small gathering or catering large celebrations, people always came back for the same reason — the food felt homemade, comforting, and full of love. She had a special touch which I lovingly call ‘sweet hand’.

Watching her build relationships through food inspired the vision behind Caribbean Hot House. We grew up surrounded by the aroma of fresh herbs, island spices, and deep-rooted Caribbean cooking traditions.  Those experiences taught me that food has the power to connect families, strengthen communities, and nourish both body and soul.

Today, Caribbean Hot House proudly carries on that legacy by blending traditional Caribbean cooking with modern meal prep convenience. Every meal we prepare reflects the same passion, quality, and authenticity that our mother shared with her community for more than three decades.
